deltiyard.io is an arras.io private server developed by coke. The private server aims to be an improvement of the now discontinued arras-template; acting as a fusion between the aforementioned server and the more up-to-date client, Open Source Arras.
deltiyard.io was originally built as a sequel to coke's previous project coke.io which was initially discontinued for many reasons (mainly demotivation). deltiyard.io was originally aimed to be designed as a client for arras.cx servers, but this concept has been dismissed.

Gameplay

The game plays very similar (or even identical) to arras.io. The player controls their tank by pressing the WASD or Arrow keys to move, and can press space to fire their barrel(s). Some tanks can shoot different projectiles, such as bullets, drones, traps, missiles, minions, and more.

Development

The development of deltiyard.io started in 2024, but at an unknown time (presumably early March). deltiyard.io properly started on March 27, 2024 at an unknown time too. The project was initially aimed to be a "better" version of coke.io, and the project at that time was a slightly modified version of arras-template. Development would go swift until May 16, where development was put on hold for 70 days because of exams that coke was taking, and to allow coke to catch a break before updating again. Updates would then resume as normal.
Between January 19 and February 5, 2025, deltiyard.io was quietly put on hold for demotivation and coke realising that deltiyard.io is "just a worse version of APS++", where 'APS++' is referred to as Open Source Arras's alternative abbreviation. Development would, again, continue as normal.
As of March 24, 2025, deltiyard.io has amassed ~87 updates.

Trivia

  • During the very early development of deltiyard.io, the project was known as "cokeio-v3-concept", then to "deltipson.io", before finally being named as deltiyard.io.
  • deltiyard.io is one of the very few private servers to change its "main menu", that is, the page with a white background, text saying "Arras", and a button linking the player to arras.io (rather than arras.cx).
