p.s. because I write everything in this wiki, everything here is true.
Coke (stylized as coke, referring to Coca-Cola) is the developer of deltiyard.io and coke.io. He has been running coke.io since October 2020, and deltiyard.io
since March 2024.
History (specifically focused on diep.io-esque topics)
Coke was aware of diep.io in 2016, but never played it until early 2017, specifically the iOS version of diep.io on the app store. His first major high-score was
a 300K+ Hybrid score, which strangely lacked the upgrading of the 'Bullet Penetration' option, instead upgrading the health-related upgrades, as he didn't know
what "penetration" meant then. He eventually quit diep.io in late 2017 out of boredom, but would return infrequently.
In 2018, Coke would then bring up the concept of a "diep.io 2", completely oblivious that arras.io was a (obscure) thing then. This self-proposed sequel would
focus on the typical things a sequel would bring: more upgrades, maps, mechanics, and more. A significant feature of the sequel would be "heroes," which are
essentially very strong variants of tanks, being fusions of some (like a Hybrid mixed with various tanks). Why this mechanic was decided was because that the
popular tower defence game Bloons TD 6 released a month or two prior, which heavilly focused on heroes. This sequel, however, obviously never came to be.
In late 2018, around November, Coke would play arras.io for the first time, often playing as Barricade, a tank he admired. He would never play the game until August
2020 after being a total wuss and rage quitting over being killed fair and square. In August 2020, being exposed to arras.io content for a while now, Coke decided
to play arras.io again, like the way he did in diep.io. Shortly after rejoining the game, he would achieve a score of 838k using Engineer in around 20 minutes,
having his run end by an unsuspecting landmine. Typical, not worth mentioning shenanigans would endure days after.
At September 2020, Coke would join the late obstar.io, and quickly became well known in the game (though most of the time the same players would play obstar.io). In
October 2020, coke.io would be conceptualised with the help of "Silver Nightlock", but would not be related to arras.io. This coke.io was planned to play more like diep.io,
with many new tanks, some with altered tiers, such as Streamliner (for some reason). Some new tanks would emerge, such as Pipe, a Triplet (which was moved down a tier) with
its central cannon being replaced by a "Shield" turret. Shields were the new name for Trappers, but the name would be scrapped for sounding off. Furthermore, Assassin was
intended to have its whole branch have the invisible ability, with Stalker being able to cloak itself within half a second, and with increased speed. Special tanks were also
proposed, featuring abnormal strengths.
Coke would attempt to make the game in Unity, but made next to 0 effort. He then shortly realised that arras.io has a private server template (not APS++), so he would
build the game off of that to keep Silver Nightlock proud. He would attempt to create the Rocket tank, which he did, but with a lot of time taken. Coke then let his
imagination run wild.
Development of coke.io would go swift with the support of many people from obstar.io, up until Summer 2021, where the game was put on hold. This was because not only
was it due to burnout, but the charger that Coke was using to run his laptop became very faulty, and had to use a 'crappy' one which only allowed it to reach 5% battery.
He then tried to update coke.io on his iPad, which actually partially succeeded, as he added the 'Bird' branch with it. Development would continue after Christmas.
In October 2022, just short of the original coke.io's 2 year anniversary (development began in November), Coke planned on making a v2 for coke.io, being unhappy about
where the project was going; calling it a mess. He began the remake on October 17, 2022, where he focused on many improvements, and more upgrades which made logical
sense, without being fillers. The introduction of the arras.io travelling gamemode Arms Race massively supported the development of coke.io v2, but without tier 5 tanks.
As a result, coke.io would begin tying to arms race, not Woomy-Arras.io.
Just after the beginning of 2023, Coke discontinued coke.io, but not only that, he flat out got rid of the game; being fed up of the game being in the way of his life.
He would then realise that discontinuing the game wasn't worth it, somewhat like destroying the most valuable thing in possession, so he reinstated it. Development would
continue as normal (with infrequent discontinuations in between).
In March 27, 2024, deltiyard.io (known as cokeiov3-concept at that time) was released, aimed to be a v3 of coke.io (as its codename says). However, this v3 concept was
retconned, and Coke decided to have deltiyard.io co-exist with coke.io, but would focus on deltiyard.io to not only be a "sequel" to coke.io, but a private server meant to
revamp arras-template; the arras.io template made for private servers. deltiyard.io started to become way more 'advanced' in comparison to coke, so he shortly and quietly
discontinued coke.io YET again in February 2025, but was reinstated again. As of April 23, 2025, the idea of deltiyard.io being a template has been retconned.
Trivia
Coke at one point was named "green tank". This is because of him almost always playing diep.io on the 2TDM gamemode, with the name as an attempt to confuse both red and
blue team tanks. This obviously didn't work.
Coke is Welsh, and can (though mediocorly) speak the native language Welsh.
Ironically, despite his name, he prefers Pepsi over Coca-Cola. He still likes drinking Coca-Cola though, yet aware it's bad for health.
He has a massive fear of Daddy Long Legs spiders.
Whenever he plays arras.io, he never is named Coke. Any other person who is named Coke is either impersonating him (which is highly unlikely) or are straight up referencing
Coca-Cola or the substance.
-
Coke picks random names such as Crescendo, Candle Wax, sem, and more. He almost never stays with the same name for more than a day.
